Privacy notice · Version 5
Privacy
Dr. M.C. Bourque Professional Corporation runs this website. Vercel serves the pages; Beehiiv hosts the newsletter signup page; first-party inquiry collection remains off; and Values Duel is a separate linked application. This notice does not describe the legacy Wix site or its data practices.
Who is responsible
Dr. M.C. Bourque Professional Corporation is responsible for personal information handled through this website, and Dr. Marie Claire Bourque is its privacy lead. This notice covers the replacement Dr. MCB website you are reading. This notice does not describe the legacy Wix site or its data practices. It does not replace the medical practice's notices for clinical records or secure systems.
Information handled by this website
This website has no advertising pixel, first-party analytics client, cookie-setting code, visitor account, inquiry form, or first-party database. The on-site worksheets keep what you type in your browser and send nothing to this website. Vercel hosts and protects the site and processes ordinary request and security information when a page loads: IP address, browser type, requested path, response status, and similar server metadata.
Linked tools with their own behaviour
Values Duel runs at values.dr-mcb.com, a separate application run by Dr. M.C. Bourque Professional Corporation and hosted by Vercel. Your progress is saved in your own browser. Vercel Web Analytics records page views and a few usage events without identifying you. If you ask for the optional Resend results email, your address, optional first name, and the five values you chose are sent through Resend, an email provider. A separate optional checkbox also joins a follow-up list; you can leave it from any email. Resend keeps recipient details and delivery records while the account is active and deletes them within 90 days after it closes. Write to the privacy lead below to have your details removed sooner. The tool has been public since 2026-08-10.
Clinical privacy boundary
Do not submit symptoms, diagnoses, treatment details, or other personal health information through this website, the newsletter reply address, the coaching route, or ordinary email. Those channels are not clinical care and do not create a doctor-patient relationship. This website does not host or receive referrals; its Clinical Practice pages direct eligible referrers to the practice's approved secure Practice Better forms.
Service providers and location
Vercel hosts the site and provides its edge and security layer. Requests may be processed on Vercel's global network, including outside Canada, under Vercel's Data Processing Addendum and its current subprocessors. Beehiiv receives what you submit on its signup page and sends the newsletter. Resend delivers the optional Values Duel emails. No database or analytics provider is used by this website.
Safeguards, retention, and deletion
This website is static pages served over encrypted HTTPS. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores no visitor information. Vercel keeps short-lived request logs as the host, and account access is limited to Dr. Bourque. Beehiiv holds your signup and consent record until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Turning on analytics, a database, or any new collection would change this notice first.
Access, correction, deletion, and withdrawal
You can ask what personal information Dr. M.C. Bourque Professional Corporation, or a provider it uses, holds about you, and ask for access, correction, or deletion, subject to the law and record-keeping duties. Identity is confirmed with the least extra information needed, only the systems that could hold the record are checked, and you get a plain-language answer within 30 business days. A newsletter request may be completed through Beehiiv, and a Values Duel email request through Resend. Clinical records follow the medical practice's own secure process. Do not include health information in an ordinary request.

Effective date and changes
Version 5 of this notice was prepared on 2026-09-11 and takes effect on 2026-09-11, the date Dr. Bourque confirmed it. It replaces Version 4, which was prepared on 2026-09-05 and took effect on 2026-09-09. The newsletter, provider, and safeguards paragraphs above describe whichever newsletter state this website is published in: signup closed, or the Beehiiv-hosted handoff. Version 4 was confirmed while signup was closed; the Beehiiv handoff was published on 2026-09-10 and withdrawn on 2026-09-11, so Version 5 is confirmed against both of those wordings and neither needs a separate reading. If the newsletter, a form, or a provider changes beyond those two states, this notice changes first.
